Ahh the glorious weekend is ahead. I’m looking forward to taking a few days off. No twitter, blogging, researching, and as of lately Buzz. Haven’t done that in a quite some time. Tara and I might end up taking Preston to some place called, “Monkey Biz”. Basically this place is one HUGE indoor playground. It’ll be a fun time for sure.

Quick Poll – How long does it usually take you to get tired of Twitter/Facebook or any social networking site? For me it takes close to 4-5 hours. So why keep doing it? I have to say mostly peer pressure, I see other on tweeting it up, posting updates and for some reason I think I’ve got to keep up. I am glad to report that the last few weekends I noticed the people I follow closely take the weekend off. Its good to know, as to why I’m following suit.

To those who may not be aware, my wife and I are living with her parents. What can I say? Working for a non-profit for three years (two of which in a bad economy) can take its toll. But thankfully we are looking to getting rid of the rest of our debt and looking for a house. We recently enrolled in Dave Ramsey’s curriculum, “Financial Peace University”. I was really glad to see its not just for people in debt, but also for people out of debt looking to manage their finances better. One of the things I’ve taken away after two classes is the concept of saving up for a single purchase vs. using a credit/debit card on the spot. One such purchase I’m saving for is to take the Google Analytics Individual Qualification. I’ve heard some skepticism of GA lately, but I feel it is still worth it. Anything I can do to add to my arsenal to help make me a better SEO. Something I’ve learned just from using GA is that regardless of what system a person is using for tracking web stats, the information captured is the same. While the numbers may vary, visits are visits, hits are hits, goals are goals.

That does it for me guys. If you have some input as to how I can improve things on my blog I’d love to hear it. Thanks for reading!

P.S. As a side note the workout had a bit of a hangup last night. Worked myself tired, but the sauna started smoking (not steam literal smoke!) so I had to open up the windows to let it air out. And with the weather close to freezing it was cold night!
