College was a great time for me. I learned a little more about myself, made some great friends had some interesting experiences and more importantly discovered fascinating videos. The night before tests my roommates and I would browse the next in search of video clips for a laugh to break up the mundane task of studying. I’ll admit some of the clips below have been overused, but in their own right remind me of some of the best times I had in college. I hope you enjoy watching them, but a word of caution. Each one WILL become stuck in your head for the remainder of the day, and in some extreme cases your lifetime.
Peanut Butter Jelly Time
I placed this one first because I’m pretty sure most who look at this list will have seen this and will skip it. This video will either be a great break for your day, or will give you a headache.
I Love You Egg
A friend sent me a link to this a few days ago reminding me when we first saw this. I had to look really hard to find a version on YouTube that would allow me to embed it. So there is no telling when it will be pulled. So watch it, then quickly move on to the next one to get the jingle out of your head!
Badger, badger, badger
The first version we found of this in college literally played this on repeat. To measure how long it would play we left the originating site up for 3 hours. We didn’t stay and listen to it, but when we got back our dorm neighbors were pretty mad. Come to think of it they were also chanting. Watch it, laugh then send it on to an unsuspecting vict..err another person who enjoys random videos from YouTube.
This is the longest video of the bunch, but is well worth watching. If you’re familiar with Don Hertzfeldt, you’ll enjoy this clip. If not, still watch it as this is one of his better animations. Those balloons just can’t be trusted.
End of the world
This is probably one of my favorite videos on this list. It’s also the only one that contains some language, so depending on where you work at it may not be safe for work. Also if you’re Canadian or Australian, no offense 😉
